I heard something about free shipping?
Yes, you did!
We’re coordinating shipping with our partner campaign (linked below). So if you’re getting pins from both campaigns - and getting those free pins - then we’ll also waive shipping on one of your pledges.
How does it work?
When Pintopia is over and the dust settles, the cross collab pins will auto generate into your pledge manager. Seeing that pin is our queue to compare notes with our sister campaign. You’ll pay the higher shipping fee.
For example: You get one bear pin from Spirits in the Woods and three boomboxes from Live Out Loud. The three pins will weigh more. So you’ll pay that shipping fee. In your pledge manager for Spirits, you’ll see a complimentary credit covering your shipping fee.
Bonus - if the combined weight increases the overall shipping cost, we’ll cover the difference!

What do I need to know about shipping?
IMPORTANT!!
Shipping costs will be charged to you SEPARATELY through your BackerKit survey.
Add on items may come with additional shipping costs depending on the final weight of your order.
All orders are shipped through USPS and come with tracking. International backers are responsible for their own country’s VAT or import taxes/fees. Due to new GDPR rules, we’re currently unable to ship to countries within the EU. Sorry!
When shipping internationally we will make every effort to properly fill out customs forms. We will abide by your country’s customs and shipping laws, which means we will denote the package value as the cost of your order, and mark it as merchandise. We are not responsible if your country holds your package and requires extra payment to release it.

Fulfillment for your last Pintopia took forever!
Yeah… you’re not wrong. I’m not happy about it either.
We haven’t changed manufacturers. We’ve been using the same one for a couple years; however, in fulfilling our last campaign we learned that our customer service representative was changed. This lead to a lot of confusion and miscommunication. The new rep was not prepared for the sheer volume of designs I threw at her. So there were a lot of errors in the proofs that ended with me cancelling all the orders and starting over one design at a time.
I’ve continued to work with this rep, and I’m getting all the proofs done ahead of time. Before the campaign closes, all the artwork will be finished and approved. So the only thing I’ll have to do is pull the trigger on production. There will be no delays between campaign and production.

Free Shipping FAQ
We’re coordinating shipping with our partner project! If you qualify for a cross collab freebie pin, then you’re also going to get free shipping on one of your orders.
When you fill out your reward surveys, you will see a charge for shipping on both surveys; however, you will also see a credit on one of your surveys. The shipping credit will be applied to the lesser of the two shipping charges.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
